Handing over files from DXO Pure Raw 4 to Affinity Photo 2

I know this has been discussed and I have read the threads and watched U tube videos and i ither cna;'t implement the solution (e.g. I eon't have a Windsows App file that i can find) or (as I non IT expert) i don;t undersntad how to implement e.g. a bat file?  I wouldn't have a clue where to start.  Esetnially I can't add AF 2 to the Export option of Pure Raw 4 - I can find AF 1 but not AF2.  Can you advise of an idiot proof solution please otherwise i'm not going to be able to use Pure Raw 4.  Please rmeember again that I am not I.T savvy - just a photogrpaher who is trying to use software.

Hi @Chezza,

If you're wanting to link external apps such as DXO to Photo 2 i'd recommend removing .MSIX version of the apps via Windows Settings -> Installed apps/Apps & Features and then install the MSI/EXE(x64) version of the app. This is a more traditional installer similar to V1 as it is non-sandboxed. To download the MSI/EXE(x64) version of the apps please find the links to the download pages below.

Publisher - https://store.serif.com/update/windows/publisher/2/   

Once you've installed the MSI/EXE version of the apps you should then be able to link it to DXO pure RAW directly similar to how it worked with V1.

same problem here it seems, in dxo photolab the option export to affinity does not wrk anymore.

It would be nice to be able to fix this, it suddenly stopped.

Dont know why.

Hi @hansties welcome to the forums,

Have you followed the advice in my previous reply to install the MSI/EXE(x64) version of the app? You should be able to link the DXO app directly to Photo.exe using this installer.

The above advice is specific to Windows, if you're on MacOS it would be helpful if you could provide a screen recording demonstrating the issue with launching from DxO as that may provide some clarity on what's going wrong.
