I have an Affinity Book with 4 chapters (cover, inside cover blank page, content #1, content #2).  To a total of 66 pages.

I have all 4 chapters document properties set to Document size of Letter (8.5" x 11")

If I export each chapter independently, they export as 8.5" x 11".

If I export the entire book, the first two chapters are 8.5" x 11" and the 2nd two chapters are exported as 17" x 22".

Something in the book export is scaling the pages to 200%.

Any suggestions?  I can Print to PDF, and it works fine... if I choose Fit to Printable.  Otherwise it scales the first two chapters down by 50% in the middle of the pages.

Hi @ruckc and welcome to the forums.

All chapter documents must have the same resolution - open each chapter and check Document Setup > Document > DPI. Two of the chapters will likely have a different resolution than the other two. Making them the same will fix this.

That makes alot of sense.  I wish the preflight checks on books reported this.

There probably should be a Preflight warning for this but I don't think it had ever come up before. Most people create one chapter and make it perfect and then duplicate the document for future chapters which would lead to the same resolution.
