Treehunter Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 Affinity Photo - When I use the inpainting brush in this build 2.6.0.2861 the result contains visible rectangles that are defined by fine white lines. However the lines disappear in the exported jpeg. Not a big deal but a little disconcerting when using the inpainting brush. Do I need a new pair of specs or have other users seen the same thing? footeg Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Not seeing it here Steve. I'm on a Windows 11 PC. Are you using a PC or Mac? Quote
MikeTO Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Generally when you have artifacts such as lines on screen but not in the actual image, as evidenced by exporting, it is due to hardware acceleration or a graphic card driver issue. From your previous posts it appears you are on Windows and I have limited knowledge of Windows GPU issues so others will be of more help, but for now you could try disabling hardware acceleration to see if that has an impact. Treehunter Posted November 27, 2024 Author Posted November 27, 2024 I am on a windows 11 pc and I am using hardware acceleration. I downloaded 2.6.0.2900 and now cannot see any rectangles defined by fine white lines when using the inpainting brush. For me fine lines are no longer a problem. Quote
