Banding Problem with jxl

I just opened a jxl image in Affinity Designer to check out the details and noticed some banding after zooming in. I also tried Affinity Photo, and the same issue popped up. But when I zoomed in with my image viewer bandiview, there was no banding at all.

I'm using Designer version 2.6.0.2805 (Beta)

Because the issue has been logged with Serif, and the thread you gave a link to has an official tag (AFP-6059) which identifies that as a logged issue, all you need to do is follow that thread and you will be notified if anything changes regarding this issue.

@GarryP  Great, thanks for the heads up! I'll follow that thread. But if this issue remains unresolved after a year, it might indicate a major obstacle.
