Junk Stuff Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 If you could add a reverse option in the layout section? This will reverse the height and width values. These two are the most common symbols for that action. Side Note: An equal option would also be a nice addon. The value of one variable (height) would become the value of the other variable (weight) or visa versa. Essentially making a square in that value. I don't know how often people are looking to make perfect squares, which is why it is just a side note. But the reverse option is common in many applications. Quote
Old Bruce Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 There is a button for changing from Portrait to Landscape above the Presets. I will use this opertunity to reiterate that I and others would prefer the original setup that has this switch on each individual Preset. It would be just as functional and actually more sensible to revert to the version one method. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Junk Stuff Posted November 23, 2024 Author Posted November 23, 2024 I'm now requesting, like Old Bruce, for these symbols to be more obviously/logically placed. Quote

If these options/symbols apply to all sub-items of list of format presets (thanks for that by the way), then where should they be placed more clearly and logically? I will use this opertunity to reiterate that I and others prefer this setup where this switch is valid for all preferences. It would definitely not be right to go back to the original solution from version 1, which was systemically incorrect, because the need for two definitions for different orientations of an otherwise completely identical format is simply wrong. What needs to be addressed, as previously stated and requested, is the ability to define a format for only one specific orientation, because there are formats where only one orientation is valid.
