Hello! I'm having a problem that randomly when I export a JPEG file, for example, sometimes the error "Error embedding metadata" appears and the image doesn't export, not every time, but it happens frequently, what made it worse was when I went to make a batch work with 83 files, which in the software appear as completed, but in the end it does not export all the images, as some of them have this error. I discovered that it was a metadata error after many tests, I carried out the process without adding the metadata, but despite solving the problem and exporting all the files without problems, it left me upset because it is something that didn't happen to me and because I wanted all the images are exported with metadata, I don't want to give them up! I don't know what to do to be able to export with the metadata without this problem occurring.
I used V1 for years and never had this problem, now I'm on V2 and using exactly the same type of file as before, and this is happening!
I will send a RAW image of the problem, as I know they will probably ask for it.

Hi @Gadiel Camargo,

Do you see the same error when exporting to your internal Hard Drive rather than OneDrive?

Affinity Designer 2.6.3 | Affinity Photo 2.6.3 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.3
MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse
HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse

The previous screenshot provided appears to indicate that you're exporting to an external OneDrive folder, could you try to a different local location that's not backed up by OneDrive?

I've not been able to replicate the export failure on the provided .CR2 file when exporting to JPEG with 'embed metadata' enabled, do you have any other example files where you encountered this issue? If you could save them as .afphoto files after encountering the error that would be best. 🙂
