I'm unable to duplicate this. Do you remember what and how you printed the time before this attempt at printing?

The "Pages" control below "Range" is missing in the screen recording which is a clue. I thought it might be that you had previously printed a specific page or page range because the Pages value is sticky but macOS handled it fine for me. However, it really should be changed.

  1. Open a long document, print pages 1-3
  2. Create a new 1-page document, choose print, and Pages defaults to 1-3 even though there is just a single page in the document. But this didn't send it into a loop for me, it just ignored the value and printed page 1. But I suspect the bug you experienced might have something to do with the values of your previous print job.

Funnily enough I had never printed anything but the entire document which is a single A4 page. I have tried opening a multi page document and when I open the print page the ranges really arent there.

Also I got a crash when Opening the Print Dialog after once printing to PDF, it was an A3 size doc trying to print 1/2 onto A4, crash report is attached.

In this screenshot, you have selected "Selection" from Range. In most Mac apps, Selection lets you select which pages you want to print by selecting them in the preview pane. With Publisher, Selection prints only the selected objects on the current page.

I've reproduced your crash. For Serif, here are the steps:

  1. Create a new document and draw a shape.
  2. With the shape selected, choose Print. Set Range = Selection and print.
  3. Deselect the shape and choose Print = crash. The dialog is defaulting to Selection but there has to be a selected object or it will crash.

I'm still unable to reproduce the looping issue but I assume this is all related so hopefully fixing one issue will fix the other.

Hi @Eduardo Delgado,

I don't believe the 'Out of Range' printing error you see is an Affinity App issue. Several non-Affinity reports of this error appear in the Apple forums affecting both the 'From', 'To' and 'Scale' fields, though none of the reports I've read provide any solution, other than re-booting...
