_dave_ Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 (edited) I am using an Apple Pencil (2nd Gen) with Affinity Designer for iPad (2.5.5). The pressure sensitive function does not work (the pencil works normally, apart from the sensitivity problem). I have tried Brush Defaults, Automatic, Pressure and Velocity. I have even tried using the Velocity setting with my finger (didn’t work). Second problem is; because of the problem, aforementioned, I decided to save some pressure curves. Not a problem with the desktop version. Can’t find the save preset button on the iPad version. Thanx. P.S. sorry just realised this forum is for version 1. As I mentioned in your other topic, I don't think we can save pressure profiles on the iPad. The iPads do not support all the functions supported on the desktop. As for your problem of pressure not working, please provide a full screen screenshot when you've painted a stroke and pressure didn't work. Also, in another screenshot please show us which brush you have selected. A screen recording of it not working might be useful, too. NotMyFault Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 Try this: create new document use pencil tool select a suitable brush set line width to e.g. 32 activate „brush defaults“ keep brush panel open to see the pressure profile while adding curves There is an old unfixed bug, the actual brush must be applied again, it is not used from the beginning.
