I would like to ask you if it is possible to add another PDF file or photo to an opened PDF file in Affinity Photo 2, please.

Yes, but if it is 2 multi page documents like your image shows you need to open both PDF’s in separate tabs, then select all the layers in the second document and then copy and then paste into the first document. 

Image shows iPad version with 2 multipage PDF files loaded into a single document.

I mean, I opened an existing PDF file-nr 1 in Affinity Photo 2, and now there are 3 files under Layers.

Now I want to slide a new .png file in PDF file-nr 1 with the mouse.

That is possible in Adobe Acrobat Pro, but I can't do that in Affinity Photo 2.

That is possible in Adobe Acrobat Pro, but I can't do that in Affinity Photo 2.

I am not sure you are using the correct tool for this task, you can do it but it may be easier in Affinity Publisher especially if you need to open up space in the existing document to add your image. 

Maybe this thread may help or someone else with more expertise in managing PDF files will answer.

Thank you, I think Affinity Publisher is more suitable for PDF tasks.

I want to think about it for a while or buy a special PDF alternative program. ☺️
