Unable to Make Payment to Purchase Affinity V2 Universal license.

Hello, I am trying to purchase the universal licence, tried with 4 cards, it is showing me same error "Not available for in app purchases" 

I am from India and only two options of payment are credit card and Google pay debit/credit card

Please someone help, as due to late reply i can miss out on black friday sale

You could try purchasing directly from the Affinity Store at https://affinity.store rather than from within the app.

I am not able to buy the software itself. (Affinity V2 universal licence)

I wasn't talking about the addons

You can buy the software, including the Universal Licence, from the Affinity Store, it's not just for addons!

I am getting error at the payment screen, when i enter card details, it says not available for in app purchases 

The card is alright and can ne used for international transaction

That says you are buying from within the application. I'm suggesting you buy from the website.

If that doesn't work, I would download from the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store (depending on whether you have a Mac or a Windows PC), and try an in-app purchase from there.

I have the exact same issues with two credit cards from India. I want to take advantage of the black friday deal, and unfortunately windows store Purchase doesn't offer that, So how can I go about buying it.

I don't know how but the same card which was rejected yesterday, I tried again this morning and it got accepted

Btw the card which got accepted was Axis Bank Mastercard credit card

Unfortunately, I do not have access to a mastercard, Can I not make payment using paypal?

Hey I've tried this with HDFC VISA, ICICI VISA, CITIBANK MASTER CARD Credit cards and HDFC Bank MASTER CARD & Union Bank of India VISA Debit Cards.

Last thing i'll try is create a new account and see if the transaction happens, As one friend used the same brand credit card as me and the transaction went through in his account but didn't work in my account.

This just doesn't work. Someone from Serif should look into this.

Had exactly the same issue when buying sales this and last offer for halloween and got a very defensive message via X, because I mentioned it was weird that the recommended way for customer support is the same they use for advertisement. They ended up telling me just "It's your bank flagging this as fraud" (I tried with 3 different banks with which I have made tons of international payments). Apparently Digital River Ireland doesn't have a very good reputation internationally. As I saw several complaints about security after a few google searches. So please attend to this Serif, your customer support had very poor reponse and your payment is just not working.

 

PD: I also lost money on failed transactions trying to pay with GPay

... to think I have several friends using this apps because of my recomendation and now I'm locked out of new versions

It's weird, the card didn't work at night but when I tried again the next morning, it went through without amy issues.

I am just happy that I finally got it at a discount

I did check that all limits have been removed including international payments, It's kind of strange my payments to competeing platforms get processed just fine with the same cards. This puts me in a predicament, where even though I'd like to support serif, the transaction gateway won't let me. Hope they resolve this soon. I'm up for my Adobe renewal today. If this is not resolved by EOD I'll be compelled to bite the bullet and go with a competing subscription.

You can use debit can with international transactions on as it worked for me, no -otp just simple transaction which took a min to process

I have had the same issue and it comes from banks flagging the transaction as fraudulent. I am not sure how affinity can change that on their end!
