When I try to select style and change it, when I select text box, didn't work, I must select text wit text tool, than I could change style

As mentioned in your other post here, your text frame is inside a Group so initially you're selecting the Group rather than the Text Frame inside the Group.

Double-clicking to select the text is selecting the text frame inside the Group so text style will then be applied to the text as expected...

I understand, but change style should also worked when select text frame and change style, I show that if change style with texst selection tool, problem is that wont work in text frame selection. Sometimes work I can change style in numbers of calendar easily when select text container, but it doesn't work in that particulary case, what is different that sometime work, sometime doesn't

I also has problem with master page I change style in master page, now I lost may text with days of calendar in pages - container exist I didn't change anything else, before that this text was visible in pages, after changing style, wanished. And two questions . If you have element in master page and want in some pages to delite or change it, in InDesign I use command and click and was editable, is something like in Publisher, and another question, layers compare master page layers and page layers, how i Know what is upper layer and down layer ig I have in Master page 3 layers and in page Layer panel 8 or more layers, how can I set where is particular layer from master page in  some pagees in document?

I was referring to the file shown in the screen recording and the attached Style change.afpub where the text has no paragraph or character styles applied so editing any text styles wouldn't make any difference... The issue is that the text frame is inside a Group and @Iztok is initially selecting the group and wondering why the text styles aren't changing when different text styles are selected...

What is meaning of this red dot , base of that is in master page and can't be selected

Now is the other problem, I put text outside group and change in master page font, but font in other pages doesn't change, probably because is in group? And important - layers in master page and layers in pages - how to know where it is layers from pamster page in other pages, how to put element in upper position  in master page or down position in master page - for example background if I have in other pages different number of layers?

More precisely, it is a white dot with a red border. It means that the text in the deselected text frame  is overflowing.

Something realy doesn't work OK, I put in master page text outside of group and in pages have different font, I also put master page across this page to be shure that master page is in that page, but, the same.

but this tekst  should be the same as in master page, so if in master page wasn't  close in tekst frame, why is in that page?
