Peter_AF Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Hi, I have placed a lot of PDF files into Punisher and all lines are pixelated/ blurry although vector view mode is selected. As soon as I change the PDF Passthrough to Interpret all is fine, but if I use interpret lots of information is lost. In case it's just a setting issue and not a bug please let me know what to change in order to see sharp lines in Passthrough mode. Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 18, 2024 Staff Posted November 18, 2024 Hi @Peter_AF, Welcome to Affinity Forums Does the file in Passthrough eventually resolve/display a high-resolution version, or does it remain pixelated all the time? Can you share that PDF with us for testing purposes? I can provide an upload link if you wish to keep the file private, just let me know. Thanks. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Peter_AF Posted November 18, 2024 Author Posted November 18, 2024 The exported PDF files are files are fine, it just the viewport in Publisher that does not shot the lines properly. I can share the publisher file if you send me an upload link. Quote
Hangman Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Hi @Peter_AF, Just adding to @MEBs post above, if you temporarily change the PDF files in Resource Manager so they're Embedded rather than Linked (assuming they're not already Embedded), save the Publisher file, close and re-open it, do the PDF files display correctly... If you have multiple PDF files you could test it with just one or two rather than all of them... Staff MEB Posted November 18, 2024 Staff Posted November 18, 2024 @Peter_AF, Here's the upload link. Thank you. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Peter_AF Posted November 18, 2024 Author Posted November 18, 2024 I have the same Issue with all files. Most are line drawings made with Archicad. Thanks you @Hangman for your suggestion, but to temporary embed the files, made it unfortunately even worse. @MEB I uploaded the affinity file to your dropbox. MEB 1 Quote

I've seen a few reports of very similar issues and usually zooming into the page or embedding fixed the blurriness issue so this sounds like something completely different...
