Leonora Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 Hello, just after some guidance on what step I'm missing... I want to remove part of a line by copying the white background and pasting over the line. Did the rasterize image thing. Marquee tool selected, copied the selection. Moved to cover the line and pasted. I can see there is a new layer but why is it not showing on the image? Thank you in advance. Quote

Make sure to switch to the Move Tool (press V) before moving the pasted layer. Quote Serif, did you foolishly fill the usability specialist role you advertised internally? Leonora Posted November 18, 2024 Author Posted November 18, 2024 Thank you - I didn't realise that was necessary - but it hasn't seemed to make any difference. Quote
R C-R Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 If you hide the lower pixel layer, what do you see? Is the upper layer showing as all white or does it include a line? Leonora Posted November 18, 2024 Author Posted November 18, 2024 Hiding the original layer makes everything invisible, all lines including the ones I want to keep. The upper layer then shows as all white. Quote
