no recent FB notifications

I learn a lot from FB & enable show all posts, but for the last week or so, I just keep getting the same welcome new members notification & no other posts or questions. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

I assumed it might be, but if so I think it would be a question for FaceBook support since the appearance of the welcome new member screen is not AFAIK something Serif has any control over, right?

I don't know how FB (if he's referring to Facebook), is what the problem is. To me, the question being asked seems more relevant to the forums, as in receiving only Welcome new members, no other posts or questions. Those are not found on Serif's Facebook page.

The Affinity Photo Facebook group is NOT affiliated with Serif in any way, it like all of the other Affinity Photo, Designer and/or Publisher groups are simply fan based groups created to help fellow users.

The only official Serif group on Facebook is https://www.facebook.com/affinity

I cannot find any question you may have asked on our fan based user groups, are you using a different name?

Ah ok, we have strict rules on the group to prevent scammers and trolls so we often delete posts that break our rules. However the new member greetings are automated by Facebook and can appear a little too often at times.

It all depends on members posting, just a quiet week I guess. I still cannot find you on the members list for the Affinity Photo group, it is best to ask your questions directly on the group rather on these Serif forums which are managed directly by the Serif staff. 

Asking questions about facebook groups here might be perceived as spam on these forums and I expect this thread to be closed/deleted by a staff member as it is off topic for these forums.

OK thanks Paul. I am a member, I just checked & it said I've joined, that's why I can select to show all notifications. It may be under my English name Charles kasler, not Paresh. Maybe it was just a slow week as you say.
