Hi
I use Affinity publisher to create a document that contains images that is printed later on. If an image has a higher resolution than required in the export, it can be downscaled with a selected algorithm. For example, bilinear, bicubic or  lanczos. Is it possible that images with a lower resolution than required for the export can be upscaled with one of those algorithms? In my opinion lanzos is an excellent algorithm for upscaling and printed images would look mouch better if the upscaling is done by me with a selected algorithm than by the printing company with an algorithm not in my control.

Upscaling of images is not a function that is offered during Export today. You would need to manually resize and upscale the images, using the Photo Persona or Photo application or some other photo editor, which would allow you to use the algorithm you want.

You could request this function using the Feedback & Suggestions part of the forums, either by posting a new topic or (better) by agreeing with an existing one if it's already been requested.
