Dear Affinity Support Team,

I am reaching out regarding persistent crashes with Affinity V2, which have made the software unusable on my system. I have tried several troubleshooting steps, including:

  • Turning off graphics acceleration.
  • Reinstalling and updating my graphics drivers to the latest version.

Despite these efforts, the issue persists. I would appreciate your assistance in diagnosing and resolving this problem. If you require specific system logs or additional information, please let me know.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Here is Event log:

Did you receive any feedback on this issue? I am having a problem being able to export from the Beta version and, after spending hours recreating my document in V2, it crashed and now I have 100 pages that re blank! All f my designs and  information are gone which is making the use of this program not worth it for me.

I guess I have to go back to Adobe. I don't what happened in this latest update but it has rendered the program unstable and useless for me!

Hi, did you try disabling graphics acceleration from the pop up menu that comes up if you press ctrl and then click on the launch icon?

I had another issue (see my post on Photo 2 beeing stuck on loading document) and disabling harware acceleration from the in app menu settings did not work. But it somehow did from the pop up menu.

I'm very dissapointed on the non existent support from Affinity. Where it devolves to either figure something your self or turn off the hardware acceleration for the hardware you've paid for or have a non functioning piece of software.

Hi All,

Apologies for the delayed response here it looks as though this post may have slipped through the net.

If any of you are still experiencing this issue please let me know and I'll look into this further with you. If you haven't already it's likely worth trying the CTRL reset method for disabling hardware acceleration mentioned by Nick XN above as this typically solves issues with the app crashing.

Thanks
C
