With Affinity Photo 2, is it possible to replace a selected area with pixels from another part of the image, as in Photoshop with the “Patch tool"?

Photo Also has a Patch Tool.

See attached video – follow the instructions on the Status Bar at the bottom of the window.

If you can’t see the Patch Tool in your Tools, you can use menu “View → Customise Tools…” to drag it into your tools (but it might already be there in a tool group).

Okay, but you still need to align on zones that are consistent with the zone you want to replace. Affinity requires more precise adjustment than Photoshop.

I’m not quite sure what you mean by that.

Can you record and share two videos, each showing you doing the same (as much as possible) thing to the same image in each application so we can compare the two?
