Flaz
Hi, I have some requests for guides, or maybe I'm not able to use them ;) - Set guide by dragging it from the ruler with any tool (not just move tool) - Making a guide while the guides are not displayed should make all guide to be displayed - Ability to delete guides by selecting them? -Another thing that does not concern the guides: show and/or move the center / center of rotation of shapes? Raskolnikov
+1 to those three!!! with the first one sometimes could be a problem (it was argued some weeks ago) while using another tools, but i'm sure these guys would figure out to get a correct behaviour. mazarin
+1 To all 3 requests. I believe that only "Another thing that does not concern the guides: show and/or move the center / center of rotation of shapes" was considered.
pavanpodila
I will also add: Guide duplication with Option-Drag. Sometimes where you are far away from the ruler, it can be a pain to move your mouse all the way to the ruler to drag out a guide Shift-Drag should snap the guide to the tick marks of the Ruler. Good to create exact guides. I should also have a way to set the guide position with some text field. I can then use some math to position the guides just like we do now with other number fields A_B_C
Staff MEB Posted June 19, 2015 Staff Share Posted June 19, 2015 I should also have a way to set the guide position with some text field. I can then use some math to position the guides just like we do now with other number fields Hi Pavan Podila, You can already do this. Go to menu View ▹ Guides Manager... and create a new guide clicking on the Add new guide button on the bottom. You can then insert any value you want by double-clicking any entry and even perform math operations inside them. Petar Petrenko
Is there any tool to make grid from guides in AD or AP that will be evenly distributed inside the page or between margins? It would be nice also, all objects that are stcked to a guide to move together when moving it, Quote All the latest releases of Designer, Photo and Publisher (retail and beta) on MacOS and Windows. 15” Dell Inspiron 7559 i7 ● Windows 10 x64 Pro ● Intel Core i7-6700HQ (3.50 GHz, 6M) ● 16 GB Dual Channel DDR3L 1600 MHz (8GBx2) ● NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 4 GB GDDR5 ● 500 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD ● UHD (3840 x 2160) Truelife LED - Backlit Touch Display 32” LG 32UN650-W display ● 3840 x 2160 UHD, IPS, HDR10 ● Color Gamut: DCI-P3 95%, Color Calibrated ● 2 x HDMI, 1 x DisplayPort 13.3” MacBook Pro (2017) ● Ventura 13.6 ● Intel Core i7 (3.50 GHz Dual Core) ● 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 ● Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB ● 500 GB SSD ● Retina Display (3360 x 2100)
