Hi,

I have a Canva non-profit account and produce a newsletter every few months. The last one was in August, not long after I'd migrated from V1 and I could export the pdf using the preset with options I'd agreed with the printer.

However, after reinstalling via Canva (which may or may not be relevant), I found that the export preset wasn't shown. Investigating, I found that file_export_options.dat wasn't in  C:\Users\Sam\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Common\2.0\user, so I copied my saved file into there and rebooted, but it still wasn't shown.

My next step was to recreate the preset, but the create/rename/delete presets were greyed out, so I can't do that. I've sent the printers a couple of files with X1 and X4 presets, but I'd really like to get my own one back, please!

Advice on how to do that would be very welcome.

Regards,

Sam

Just a thought, but did you change any of the settings before you tried to create a preset? "Create Preset" will be greyed out unless you change something first.

FWIW My "file_export_options.dat" is in the Publisher folder, not the Common folder. (From what you've said, I'm assuming that you are using Publisher v2) but I have no idea if this is the standard location.

Aaah! Many thanks - I just changed something and the options ungreyed - very simple!

Yes, I'm using V2 and will recreate the profile and check the location tomorrow, as I'm going out shortly.

Thanks again,

Sam

Hi Paul,

I've just recreated the preset and it's in C:\Users\Sam\.affinity\Publisher\2.0\user, so you're right, but it's not under Roaming or whatever, which I'd expected.
