Patje Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Dear fellow users, I recently bought myself a new camera and now I cannot see my camera listed in the 'lens corrections' list. I am using Affinity v1.10.8, since I am not using it that often. Is there a way to add the library of cameras and lenses into Affinity v1? Kind regard, Patrick Quote
GarryP Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Welcome to the forums @Patje You cannot add support for extra cameras or lenses to the applications as the support for them is built in to the applications when they are ‘shipped’ and the V1 applications are only updated to keep them running on newer OS versions with no ‘extras’. David in Яuislip Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Photo 1.10.6 on windows opens files from this camera If you have missing lenses, try and find them on lensfun, https://github.com/lensfun/lensfun/blob/master/data/db and get the lensdata from there If they're not there you can try downloading Adobe DNG Converter which has a bunch of lcp files that Photo can use same as xml's SonyLenses-Adobelcp.txt Patje 1 Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10

This is my understanding for V1 windows: Camera and lens info is contained in C:\Program Files\Affinity\Photo\Resources\lens-correction-data.dat and this can be topped up by entries in C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Photo\1.0\LensProfiles mac files will be elsewhere but the LensProfiles folder must exist Add the attached xml to the LensProfiles folder, restart Photo and the Sony 6700 should be available in the Filters/ Distort/ Lens Correction drop down as well as a silly one at the top. Not that I've ever understood why you need to select a camera if it doesn't have a fixed lens sony6700.xml Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10
