AKB Studios Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 (edited) Hi, Please Affinity Photo and Designer cannot open on my computer. Here are the things I have tried and have not worked: Restarting Reinstalling Run as Administrator Windows>Apps>Affinity Photo/Designer>More> Here the three options I saw are Uninstall, Run as Administrator, and Open File Location Settings>Apps>Installed Apps>Clicked the 3 dots on Affinity photo/designer>Modify Held control to launch the app. Edited November 15, 2024 by AKB Studios I needed to add another step I took Quote

From your initial posting I assume that you used the MSIX version of the installer. Please download the MSI/EXE version from the Serif Store. In the download area, click on the button with the tip pointing downwards and select the MSI/EXE. Did you try https://store.serif.com/en-us/account/licences/ (or the equivalent if you are not in the US)? There should be a "View License" button if you bought the Universal license -- I'm not sure what it would say if you bought just AD & AP for Windows. If you click the license button you should get to a screen with a Windows item for each of your apps with a popup menu where you can select among 4 versions to download. That seems likely from that last screenshot saying 'no V2 licenses'. if that is true then there is no MSIX version for V1, so that can't be a part of the problem, right?
