We have of lack of path simplifying tools in Designer.
Users who work in more technical workflows probably needs flattening of knots x and y positions according to chosen Decimal places for Unit Types in Document Settings.
We have huge performance lags with paths/curves with a lot of points. Problems were described here.
I don't know if it is possible but i would be happy to have kind of button or checkbox within Settings/User Interface window what i pictured on attached screen.
It could transforming or flattening on demand the positions x, y of every knot in document.
Maybe it's my wishful thinking but it could have good influence for display performance especially if you have amount of points in hundreds of thousands or millions.
In current version of Designer it still remember x,y positions with 6 decimal places even if you change to 2 decimal places. It's only matters of displaying informations about decimal places not about real transforming points into chosen position resolution.
In practical manner You can manage it by hand if you have hundred of points and have patience but it's getting imposible to do this above hundred of points especcially if you have imported vector objects with much much higher number of knots/points.
In those cases I prefer to do it automatically and i'm reconciled with points/knots positions morphing because I don't care about slight movement of points but I care about performance of whole document. So it could move the points even to whole integers if I'm chosing  Decimal places for Unit Types to 0 and I reset/flatening positions to this resolution with a button. After pressing the button it could have a 'Calculation Time' in this moment. What do You think about it?
