After several days of work on our company's project (profile catalog), I was unable to open a project which was still functional last night. When opening Affinity reports that the file type is not supported... I have no idea what happened, but all my work so far for several days seems to be lost - not to mention the fact that I won't be able to submit the project by the deadline...
I am attaching both a screenshot of the message and the file that is supposedly corrupted.
Is there any possibility to save this file?

Thank you for the quick reply...

Hi @Šimon Fuxa
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Where was the file stored? Were you working on it from a local folder, a synchronized cloud folder (e.g., iCloud, Dropbox), a network disk, an external USB drive, or something similar? I’m passing the file to the dev team to see if it can be recovered, but I can’t promise it will be done in time or that recovery will be possible at all.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I am working on a Ms Windows PC. All the files I work with are located on one external drive (connected via USB). I have been working like this for two years. In the past I have dealt with a similar problem and was advised to stop using sleep mode - I stopped. But despite that, this is what happened.
Thanks so much for trying to recover. I have many hours of work in this project and I can't afford to recreate it from scratch..

In this case I actually don't.. I know it's silly, but this was such a recent and "quick" project, that I actually didn't make any backup copy... I know.. I'm an idiot... But hey... I worked for several many years with Adobe and this never happened to me... I like Affinity, but this was a bit of a surprise and disappointment.
