nasu wong
I noticed that when using tools like the Pen, Pencil, or Brush, the color in the color panel updates instantly as I select, before releasing. However, with the Vector Flood Fill tool, I have to release before the color updates. I’m not sure if this is a bug. Thank you.

You say "the color panel updates instantly as I select, before releasing". As you select what, and how are you selecting? And before releasing what? Perhaps a screen recording would help. Please also check your application Settings and make sure you have Show Touches enabled, so we can see your interactions with the screen. Thanks. By the way, if you're not sure something is a bug, it's probably better to post in the Questions part of the forum (e.g., Affinity on iPad Questions), rather than the Bugs part of the forum. nasu wong 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. nasu wong
@walt.farrell I understand!....I've taken a screen to show you, you 'll notice that the color we are about to select for the vector flood fill tool doesn't update in the color panel until after I release the pencil. I've try this on Window version, it doesn't. Thanks. colorPanel.mp4 walt.farrell
walt.farrell
Thanks for the video. I can confirm that I see the same behavior of the Color panel when the Vector Flood Tool is active on my iPad. I can check Windows later. nasu wong 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Staff Lee D Posted December 4 Staff Share Posted December 4 @nasu wong We have a similar issue logged against the Vector Flood Tool on iPad. It's been resolved in the 2.6 beta which you can signup and test to see if it applies to your issue as well here. nasu wong
