Flood fill is super slow.

1. Create an empty designer file. I created 3600 x 3600 px

2. Switch to pixel persona

3. Flood fill

Inkspace, ClipStudio, Tayasui, Photoshop even Windows Paint fills super fast. Seems something off with the implementation of the flood fill.

Normally I do this unintentionally by flood filling on the wrong layer. Or when there are holes which flood filling escapes.

it just shows that implementation is not efficient. Being a dev is a curse 😂

Hi @uuxxaa,
I'm not experiencing any slowdowns or lags. Are you running Windows or macOS?
Even if you haven't created any layer the Flood Fill Tool (or rather the Assistant) should automatically create a layer for you and fill it with the colour you want.
Can you replicate this consistently of it happened just once?
Thank you.
