I would very much like to be able to offset lines.

It would be very nice if I could for instance offset (Copy and paste) a line/spline or figure 13 or 23 milimeters (exact distances) to the right, left, bottom or 35 degrees of the original.

It is really curious to me that I dont get the option to put in exact distances, when drawing objects and that there is no offset function at all.

Trim and extend would also be great in an update, thanks.

Given two objects, you can Distribute Horizontally by a specified distance, or Distribute Vertically by a specified distance. Perhaps that will help?

Most of the things being requested here have already been requested in other forum threads.

As per the forum guidelines, please search the forums first and add your comments to an existing thread rather then make a new thread for a topic which already exists.

The more threads we have about the same thing the more difficult it is for people searching for any answers, or official responses, which might exist.

Multiple threads for the same thing ‘dilutes’ the feedback from multiple users across disparate threads and makes it more difficult for Serif to judge the overall ‘weight’ of requirements for something. (A dozen petitions with a hundred names on each is not as ‘weighty’ as a single petition with over a thousand names on it.)

Thanks for the idear, I still think it to be a bit cumbersome for me to offset/(copy paste) a curved spline or straight line the exact 19 milimeters 45 degrees from the original with that method.

I had missed the "35 degrees" in your original post, I think. Sorry.

In any case, I should have thought a bit more and recommended the Move Data Entry function: https://affinity.help/designer2/en-US.lproj/pages/ObjectControl/duplicate.html

For example: To duplicate this curve, 2 inches to the right and at a 35 degree angle, I choose the Move Tool, select the curve, and press Enter. Then:
