Iztok Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 When resizing images, the default option is disproportionate scaling. However, it's almost 100% proportional scaling for everyday tasks, at least for images. My suggestion is that whenever an image is detected, the default setting should be proportional resizing of the images. Gripsholm Lion 1 Quote
Gripsholm Lion Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 The decision-making behind this function and its automatic mode (move tool aspect constraint) doesn't match my way of thinking. I've ended up choosing constrained scaling as my default simply because it's the least worst option more of the time. I'd like to see a fourth option in settings which forces it to respect the status of the lock in the Transform pane (expect when a key modifier is applied). Quote
Gripsholm Lion Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 To be fair, that linked thread is in the questions section and this one's in feedback, so why is that even an issue? Quote
Gripsholm Lion Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 I wasn't making a point. Fairly obviously, I was just asking why you thought that Itzok had caused a problem. I've only seen what he's recently posted here in feedback, not anything elsewhere. It's not unusual for someone to post feedback as a question, or part of, and get directed over here, so that's pretty much what this looked like to me. Alright? HCl 1 Quote
