mean that when you have two A4 pages in spread a line must be between like in AP 2.5 or InDesign, now is no difference A3 lanscape or two A4

The line between pages in spread is necessary for designer like was in 2.5 version doing with pages in 2.5 was just OK, don't know why cganges, we have problems with copiying colours in another document and colours from one document is not in colour pallette, so  is not copied, focus on this please, then

Look what happened when I delete first page- objects in next page was flipped 180 degree, but not all, in 2.5 was everything OK with pages can't understand, we have problem with copy colours in other page, when colours are not copied, we have problem with pallete,- cant save my arrangment of palett, especialy if I work in two monitors, but you are changing something works just OK, why ?

Delete first page and watch, in 2.5 was OK

Yes, I know. Like you @Iztok, I find this line helpful and would like it to be visible in "preview" mode as well.

In my opinion, preview mode should disable visual aids, but not all of them, just the ones that are distracting. In my opinion, the thin, neutral gray line used to mark page boundaries and folds is nothing compared to the distracting light guides, margins, or baseline grids, etc.

In InDesign with incomparable bigger user base, they don't find these lines distracting and they are visible.  In Affinity after many years of not being in the way they suddenly disappear from the `Preview`. And now when you write that they are helpful to you and why they are missing, some try to convince you that it's a good decision, that it's logical, that it's an oversight they're visible, etc.

I don't know, but for me there is something wrong with some people here.

+1 to bring them back to `Preview`. Period.

Serif, the dividing line must be visible in Preview mode in 2.6, as it was in version 2.5 and as it is in InDesign (even in Preview mode). This line is essential because it's a two-page spread, not a single page, and the boundary helps designers maintain proper alignment and visual orientation across the spread.

And let’s also agree that this line will be visible in the physical world for the same reasons, as it represents an actual, physical boundary.

This topic comes out that discussion, where divergent opinions were expressed, like this comment (on which I personally disagree; I prefer to always see this line, even when previewing, so I report it by fairness) :

N.B. It's a pity this new topic was not created in the Feedback section or better in Reaction to the new beta…

That simply must be an unintended regression in the 2.6 beta

Such a mistake.:(

Bring them back into the Preview. And make it pro by adding option to customize the Preview experience.

Strangely, in that (long) discussion, none of those who think that no non-printed element should be visible in preview mode seem to complain about the Transparency Grid. Regarding "non-printed", this grid should accordingly be automatically hidden in Preview mode without having to uncheck its box. – Unlike the vertical line between the pages of a multi page spread, which is actually physically created (not printed) and visible in the final printed result (and regardless of whether the spread has 2 or more pages).

Compare this earlier post and Serif's response about "design aids":

Please bring this back or add a as a Preview option. It is very beneficial to be able to Preview spread division.

Already mentioned in one of the now locked topics but in this old topic from 2021 the OP has a perfectly valid reason for wanting the divider to be hidden in Preview mode.

Therefore, IMO hiding or showing it in Preview mode should be an option of some kind.

I also think the transparency checkerboard background should be hidden in Preview mode. I don't think there needs to be an option to show it there.
