HI,

I have recently upgraded to Affinity Photo 2 (version 2.5.5) on my M1 14" MacBook Pro running macOS Sequoia 15.1 from Photo 1. I tried making a panorama using a set of 5 .heic images I had shot with my iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 18.1. The images were shot hand held using the builtin camera app producing 24 MP .heic files. I used the New Panorama option and then loaded in the five images but when I went to generate the panorama an error message came up saying “No Panoramas Found”. I tried deleting a couple of images and reordering them but same error message. I had previously tried the exact same files in another program called Panorama Stitcher Mini and they worked just fine. As part of trying to work out the problem I then converted the five images to .jpeg files using Preview. Loaded the .jpegs into Affinity Photo 2 and had no trouble generating the panorama. As an afterthought I airdropped the .heic files to my iPad Air M2 and used Affinity Photo 2 there to generate the panorama with no problems whatsoever.

I tried searching the forum to see if anyone else had reported this problem but couldn't anything. I'm wondering if anyone has seen this behaviour or is it maybe just an odd occurrence with these particular images ?

Thanks Jeff.

Thanks, @Hangman. I had searched the forum for a panorama stitching problem rather than a HEIC file problem. I guess I'll just have to stitch the panoramas on my iPad instead of my Mac. :)

Bye Jeff.
