Hi

It would be very nice to have some form of dimensioning where one could either set a dimension or have a pop-up dialogue to set each one, such as line length etc. This functionality could be considered more CAD than graphics, but I think it would be a great addition to a graphics app, allowing both creative free flow and accurate drawings for CNC, laser cutting, etc.

I find the current transform dialogue lacks functionality and is difficult to use in this context

it would also me useful to be able to edit several lines att he same time in terms of length, angle etc. form this dimension

Essentially it would be easier to create an accurately sized line or object, which I usually need to do

I use CAD a lot for modelling for CNC or printing, but for laser-cutting profiles, I prefer graphics packages such as Designer

So, lots of people want dimensioning and have requested it since before 2020, yet Affinity have not listened to their users. As the ruler is already implemented, I would expect it is not too difficult to add proper dimensioning and no too difficult for Affinity to listen to their customeres

Losing confidence in this being the right app for me
