OveB Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 Hi, I have placed a long (300+ pages) Word document in Publisher, and I have a strange dotted line appearing on many pages. Sometimes it can be deleted by deleting characters around it, but it mostly then just appears somewhere else. It can be in the middle of the text frame or at the end of it. I can see no strange characters in the original file where the dotted line appears in the Publisher file. I attach two files: one screenshot showing the dotted line and one extract from the main file where I can see the dotted line at the end of page 2. I have really tried to search for any info what this could be. Any help is appreciated! Best /Ove dotted line problem.afpub Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 11, 2024 Staff Posted November 11, 2024 Hi @OveB, Welcome to Affinity Forums It comes from your text style "Standard". You have added a dash line style to the Decorations section. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
OveB Posted November 11, 2024 Author Posted November 11, 2024 Great! Thanks a lot! I haven't added this. It must somehow been in the original word doc (not made by me) 👍 Quote

Oufti Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Look in the Text panel > Decorations, and if it's also in the Text style definition, update the style after. https://affinity.help/publisher2ipad/English.lproj/pages/Panels/textPanel.html Quote Affinity Suite 2.5 – Monterey 12.7.5 – MacBookPro 14" 2021 M1 Pro 16Go/1To I apologise for any approximations in my English.
