Side menu text too light

Is there a way to darken the options in the side menu? Specifically I'm talking about the glyph browser and layers panel. The text is such a light gray that it's hard to see. I've changed the interface between both light and dark modes and neither is easy to see.

Have you looked at the other options in Settings / User Interface?

Depending upon which OS you are using you will have various options.

@GarryP I've looked there, but not sure what to click to make it darker. I've played a bit, but not getting any results. I'm on a Mac.
