I wish to create a newsletter with a number of hyperlinks. The source is either an existing website and/or an email. Both sources have live hyperlinks. If I drag to highlight text, which includes hyperlinks, in either source, then copy/paste them into Word then the hyperlinks are retained.

In AP, I have created a page containing a single text frame that occupies the whole page, then duplicated the page and linked them together. When I copy/paste from either the website or the email (both containing live links) the result comes over as text and the hyperlinks are lost. My default frame has a body text style so I have created a new text box with no style but the result of pasting is the same. Knowing no better, I have tried Edit, Paste, Paste Inside and Paste without format - all with the same result.

Am I doing something wrong or is this simply not possible, necessitating the recreation of each link?

Thank you.
