How do I retrieve my activation keys?

I purchased the Affinity suite v1 in 2021. In 2023 I upgraded to v2.

I recently had a computer crash. I have had to reinstall Windows 10, and I am now going through the process of reinstalling my application software. I just reinstalled Affinity Publisher, version 2.5.5 and I can;'t activate it. When I check my Affinity account, I see the activation key for v1, but I don't see any activation keys for v2 of Publisher, Photo, or Designer. I need to get these programs installed and activated. How do I obtain the activation keys?

I tried that. The password allows me to log into the forum, but when I enter it in Publisher it reports that the password is incorrect.

I don’t know if this helps/applies, but your forum login credentials are separate to those of your store (application) login credentials.

Your password for the forums is not the same as your password for the Store, unless you made it that way, and keep it that way, as they are established and maintained separately.

It is possible you purchased V2 from the Mac App Store, or the Microsoft Store, and did not link the purchase to your Affinity Store account. In that case, you would need to reinstall from the Store where you purchased. Or it is possible you have two Affinity Store accounts.

In any case, you do not have an Activation Key for V2 products; it's all controlled by the Store login when you've downloaded from the Affinity Store.

But as you have a login for the Affinity Store (since you found your V1 purchase there), you would use that email and password when trying to activate V2. If that does not work, what error message does it display?

I'm in -- thanks. I purchased v2 directly from Serif. It's very confusing as to which password to use where, but I finally figured it out.

The forum password is for the forums. The Store password is for everywhere else.
