RJVELA Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 I am not sure about all of the other Measurement options for the Ruler, but if the ruler is set to Points, and the Document Unit is set to Points, then the Ruler measurements should be based on the custom DPI setting, rather than a default setting of 72. If you're intending to use the Ruler as a general measurement guide, it becomes more difficult to work with documents if your workflow relies on this document configuration. ronnyb 1 Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 I'm not sure I understand what you're saying, but as far as I know "pt" is a physical unit of measurement, like inch, mm etc. and there are 72 pts per inch. This is not dependent on the document DPI. Make two files each 10 inches square, one at 300 DPI and one at 72 DPI. Change the units of measurement for both to Points and note that each of them is 720 points by 720 points.
