Text is not working when I import from Adobe Illustrator PDF

when I import a editable Illustrator PDF file all the text looks like this, even if I change the font its not working, Can you guys tell me how can I fix this? or this is a bug. I'm trying to move to affinity suite from a long time adobe user.
