White pointer turns black, unable to move image

Hey guys, I'm stumped on this. I cut this image from another page and pasted it here. Now when I go to move it, the cursor turns black. I try pressing escape and at first I'm able to move the image, but then it jumps back to its original spot. Any idea what might be happening? Thanks in advance.

That black mouse pointer looks like the ‘pinning pointer’ (not sure of the real name).

If you look at the layer you are moving, in the Layers Panel, you will see a little icon under the layer name which shows that the image is pinned “Inline in Text”.

I don’t use pinning much myself so I can’t say what you should/can do about it in this particular case as I don't know what you want to do with it, but someone else might be able to if you give us a bit more information.

Note: Full-screen (whole application UI) videos are best because we can see everything that you can see, rather than just a limited part of the screen, which gives us a better idea of what’s happening.
