Sudden et repeted crashes on Affinity v 2.5.5 when opening several raw images

Hello, 

I encounter some issues with Affinity v. 2.5.5. When I launch it and try top open 5 to 10 raw pictures, the loading time is really long and it crashes very often. The same happens when I work on one of the pictures. It is quite annoying. 

I have an Asus Rog Zephyrus from 2024, with Intel Core i9 (13th generation) and 16 Go of RAM. 

Is there any solutions to fix this problem ?

It could be related to available system resources. Have you tried having Task Manager open at the same time to monitor the usage?

What's the make/model camera the RAW files are from?
Where on your system are the RAW files stored (locally, external drive, cloud storage)?
What's the filesize of the RAW files you're opening?

If a crash is occurring with an single image, is it crashing when opening, developing, apply other edits?
