The behaviour of my export and screenshot is causing me a lot of problems.

I am using an Apple Mac M3 Pro and have enable Metal compute acceleration on by default.

Affinity Photo: v 2.5.5

No external monitor

Image editing process:

I did a HDR merge using three images and used a default tone map. Afterwards I copied in the top mountain section from another photo as the HDR auto align output these as slightly blurry. I have edited the photo using many layers and went to export it. However, on export the top section appears very differently to my original edit. When trying to screenshot, I also experienced the same issues.

This shows my normal edit (taken on phone so excuse the quality)

The export persona viewport (see top 1/3rd of mountain is very odd)

A screenshot also shows the same image with incorrect rendering.image.thumb.png.e8f57efd80defed542a2ab551e6e238a.png

An export of png shows this rendering issue does not persist (but colours aren't true to in-app)

An export of jpeg shows the problem persists.

I think it is clearly down to apple hardware acceleration but turing it off causes the image to load like the screenshot.

This is roughly what the edit should look like:

Thank you for your help!
