Good day

Is it possible to make a Macro that goes into the export persona and creates slices of all layers and sets them all to the a certain format?

The problem I am running into is when I select a layer in the export persona, I am trying to select all but the options I do get are limiting. It seems to only accept one layer/slice while recording. Is there a select all or export all button or menu item I am missing or is it not possible?

Thanks

Hi @leaveil ct and welcome to the forums.

Since Affinity Photo already gives a hint when trying to create a slice that macro recording is not supported, I would say ‘No, it's not possible’

Thanks for your reply. Is the hint you mention the popup that asks which layer you're selecting while recording your macro?

Since posting I tried selecting them one by one, starting from the top and then going "one below current" but then I started thinking what if I have more or less layers in the future.

Am I the only one that thinks a select all, slice all and change all formats would be useful?

Its part of a workflow I hope to improve since moving to Affinity.

Hopefully in the future.
