Saved wrong document, losing the correct one entirely

I was using Affinity V2 on ipad, and it froze. (Doesn’t happen often.) I exited to the gallery to save it, and it saved _a different document’s contents_ to my document’s filename. So it’s gone entirely, as far as I can tell. 

If there is a solution, that would be cool. If not, I’ll survive but this sort of problem seems pretty important to adddress.

Wonderful news! After posting this, I thought I’d try closing without saving, and it worked. I’ll leave this for possible future searchers.
