Imported DXF file issues

Hi - 

I've imported some .DXF files from Solidworks, but am having some issues.

Everything imports as lines, and I cannot seem to find a way to join them together to make shapes.  I've tried using the Node tool and 'close shapes' but the lines all stay as separate entities.  Any help would be appreciated - I don't wish to have to re-draw everything.

What you need to use is the Node Tools context toolbar "Join Curves" button but it is going to be tedious to select the right combinations to join into the various curves because there are so many 2 node lines.

Someone may have a good way to do this but I do not.

EDIT: Attached is a partially joined version I created, which may be useful to you as a starting point.
