SEVERE UI bug in Designer2 when adding live perspective filter to image in Pxl Persona!

Designer 2.5.5

I just downloaded Affinity 2 for the first time after upgrading to the suite.

• I opened a legacy designer project, save as new project
• select img in artboard and switch to pxl persona
• add live perspective filter to image
• switch back to designer persona

I tried this 2 and both times after switching/applying the filter, various coloured squares appeared all over the main ui area....

Thank you for your feedback. I can see from your screenshot that Affinity Designer isn't behaving properly but I have been unable to reproduce this.
The pixel persona in Designer has no live filters. Is it possible you meant to say that you switch to Affinity Photo (using File > Edit in Photo...) instead?
Could you record a video showing this issue happening please? Thank you.

It has two, Perspective and Mesh Warp, both available via menu “Layer → New Live Filter Layer”.
I keep forgetting about this too.
