AvdB Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Instead of two pages, can I get 1 page on my screen by default in Affinity Publisher. I don't find that jumping back and forth from bottom left to top right, when adding or correcting text, very convenient. A simple explanation will suffice. Also, if it's not possible in Affinity Publisher, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks a lot! Quote
GarryP Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 I don’t quite understand what you want, or what you mean by “jumping back and forth from bottom left to top right”. Can you give more details about “1 page on my screen” (and what it relates to), and record and share a full-screen (whole application UI) video showing us what happens with the “jumping”? Quote
Oufti Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 If your document is defined as two-pages spreads, I'm afraid you can't display it with single pages aligned vertically. If your screen is too tight to show both pages side-by-side, you have to zoom out, scroll and zoom in (or scroll from right to left, then top to bottom) to navigate from page 1 to page 2 for example. AvdB Posted November 2, 2024 Author Posted November 2, 2024 (edited) That is what I meant. Thank you very much! Edited November 2, 2024 by AvdB Oufti 1 Quote

I might misunderstand the goal but it appears to be easier to double-click a single page of the spread thumbnails in the Pages Panel (whereas double-clicking the page numbers below the thumbnails zooms to spread view). A very minor quibble, but note that this centers one page of a 2 page spread in the document window, but it does not hide the other page, so it is not quite the same thing as showing just one page of a spread.
