In my text style, I only find the option of Text fill to color my font, but I need the font color.

If I make the text fill 100% k, what I need, the text looks bold, but still is on all of my cmyk layers.
If I use the font color slider in top of my screen, it works. But I really, really, miss this option in my style!

I have a book that for some reason doesn't use master pages for pagenumbers and headers, and I have no option to search on the style I used and make the text only black with search and find, nor can I change this within my style.

So please, change this!

Thank you very much!

Which OS do you use, which Affinity application, and what release of the application?

No, it is not! It gives me a bold font and a font that is on all the cmyk layers!

A bold font suggests that you have a Stroke added to the text. And being on all the CMYK layers suggests you did not actually choose 0/0/0/100.

But you have not given us any actual data to demonstrate exactly what is happening. A sample Affinity document would be great. (And, by the way, "Affinity" is not an application. Affinity Photo, or Affinity Designer, or Affinity Publisher, are applications. Which are you using?)

Thank you walt.farrell!
I work with Affinty Publisher, version 2.

I tried to sent you a screenshot of my problem, started again and... everything is working fine.

I have been struggling with this since I designed my first book last year. They told me, my font was not on the K only plate. Did my second book right now, and had the same problem. They also told me that my font looked strange bold, something that I did not see. I didn't apply a font stroke, only used the font fill option. After deselecting the font fill option and selecting my text manually and applying the font color option on the top of the screen, they told me, that everything was fine. When I found the option on top of the screen, I also looked up the font that should have been k only, and it wasn't.

I have no clue what happed, wasted a lot of time... But now it is working. Yes, font fill seems to be the same as font color.

Thank you a lot!
