APub doesn't have the ability to create forms with things like text fields and checkboxes, so there's no way to export PDFs that can accept data input in Acrobat.

It would be a nice feature to have — I hope that functionality is added to APub at some point.

That should be possible with any PDF you export from the Affinity applications. They are standard PDF files.

How do I make a pdf in Acrobat pro x so it can be opened and edited, (comments  etc) in Reader?

My partner reminded me that we used to do that for proofreaders who didn’t have Pro.
But I've forgotten how, something about save as extended for Reader, one of 3 options.

Affinity Suite v2.6.3, Mac Mini M2 Pro 2023, Sonoma, OS 14.1.1
