Affinity bug, I can't export file or save document

I made the move from Adobe to Affinity a few years ago due to frequent issues and have been really happy to be able to use it. But today, unfortunately, I'm thinking of going back. I don't know why, but for the last three days I'm having trouble working with Publisher. At first I thought I had a hardware problem (iMac 2017 with HDD) so I had the HDD replaced with an SSD. I was working on another MacBook Pro (2019) while the computer was being serviced and the problem with saving and exporting files continued. I'm working on an important document and today I definitely lost my patience and a few years of my life.

The only thing I did was uninstall my Affinity v2 from my work macbook 2019 because I changed jobs a week ago (never had this problem with Affinity before). I then updated Affinity from v1 to v2 on my personal 2017 iMac and noticed this problem for the first time (it was the same Affinity account as on my work macbook 2019). As I wrote above, I took my iMac in for service and had to borrow my previous work macbook and re-install Affitity v2 on it (but now directly, first time I upgraded from v1 to v2). And the problem with saving and exporting files started to be on him as well. Today, a few seconds of surgery took me the whole day and neverthless I didn't fix it.

When I try to export the document (to PDF) nothing happens, no popup, no error message, nothing and clicking on the page thumbnail doesn't respond. When I close the document, the whole application freezes.

I don't know what to do, but I don't have time to create an entire job from scratch in InDesign anymore.

Can someone help me please? Had anyone the same problem and solved it? Thanks for any advice!

Could they be popping up on another screen?

Was your work macbook previously connected to another screen at work?

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

I'm a bit confused as to which computer is which above, but I think you're saying that you're now using just the 2017 iMac with a new SSD, onto which you had to install v2 from scratch.

Which version of macOS is now installed?

1. Try rebooting if you haven't already.

2. Try using a different Affinity app - does that work?

3. Try restarting the application with Ctrl held down (press and hold it immediately after clicking the icon if holding it before opens a context menu) and clearing your user data.

4. Try creating a new document, add some text and a photo, and then exporting it to PDF - does this work?

Thank you for your reply. No I am using my previous work MacBook 2019 now (where I didn't have problem few years with Affinity), which I had to borrow because of replacing drive on my private iMac 2027, which is still in service (where I also didn' t have problem till installing v2 update).

I tried all of your advices and nothing happened except 4. I also  tried to "save as" or create a new one document and placed graphic inside. I attached video of third one. What happens when I check all checkboxes?
