After testing this feature for a while, I liked it. It can even be enabled by default, the main thing is to have a description of how it works. It doesn't break the design in general, it only moves objects, so visually they remain in their places on the page as intended, only in a different place on the page itself.

I have split this Anchor to Spine discussion into the best thread for it, hope that is OK.

There was so much work on the pages that I split the announcement into 4 threads/areas to try to avoid the problem of having just one "Multiple Pages and other Page management Improvements" super thread. As a consequence it is possible to miss some of the related changes. I have now rewritten the first post in each of the 4 threads to mention the other ones.
