NotMyFault Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 When you use the scale slider for resizing placed files, the text in status bar changes when crossing 100% scale from above or below, causing some irritating flickering. I noticed similar „unsteady“ status bars at several other tools. Would be great if Affinity can spend a little QA time and spare users from raising dozens of individual bug reports. I noticed this only as M1 iPad has so many redraw issues (any layer can become unresponsive an does not get redrawn) so I often try to intentionally trigger a redraw, which did not help but let me notice the status bar issue. Goodby Forum, thanks for good discussion and so much support from great peers and Affinity staff. It was a great pleasure to be part of this fantastic community. Staff NathanC Posted October 24, 2024 Staff Posted October 24, 2024 Hi @NotMyFault, I've not observed any UI flickering when using the scale slider following an image placement so far, could you provide a screen recording demonstrating this? Thanks
NotMyFault Posted October 24, 2024 Author Posted October 24, 2024 Hi Nathan, hope that recording helps. Happens no matter if pen or touch is used ScreenRecording_10-24-2024 12-55-46_1.mp4 Goodby Forum, thanks for good discussion and so much support from great peers and Affinity staff. NotMyFault Posted October 24, 2024 Author Posted October 24, 2024 It seems there must be another layer in the file. Maybe snapping causes the behavior. Staff NathanC Posted October 24, 2024 Staff Posted October 24, 2024 Much appreciated, thanks! I can confirm I've replicated and logged the issue, even on a new document. NotMyFault 1
