charles-dyfis-net
Howdy! I recently went to some effort to built a Lensfun profile for the Panasonic S-E100 lens, including vignetting measured at several distances (as a macro lens, this has quite substantially different characteristics at its closest focal point from longer distances). However, it appears that Affinity Photo isn't selecting the correct model parameters based on distance -- it sometimes undercorrects and sometimes overcorrects depending on the details of the specific photo at hand. exiftool is able to extract a "Hyperfocal Distance" field that changes with the combination of F-stop and focus distance, so data usable to calculate this value (even if with substantial error) clearly exists. Is Affinity Photo 2 presently able to successfully extract it for late-model Panasonic cameras (I'm currently testing photos taken with a DC-S5M2X)? Many thanks, -- Charles
